2015 (Trivia: Our 35th year, the first ride was cancelled due to high winds).

2014 (Trivia: Our 34th year, the first ride was cancelled, and it didn't rain).

2013 (Trivia: Our 33rd year, and the 5th consecutive year that the first ride wasn't cancelled).

6/2/12 Mattituck (cancelled due to forecast)

2011 (Trivia: Now it's 3 consecutive years that the first ride wasn't cancelled).

9/24/11 - Shelter Island (cancelled due to forecast)

6/25/2011 - Picnic (cancelled due to forecast)

4/23/2011 - Bethpage - Jones Beach - Another rain-out.

4/16/2011 - Bethpage - Jones Beach - This was a tough call, but the combination of high wind, low temperature, and approaching rain, are the reasons for the cancellation.

2010 (Trivia: The last year that we had only one weather-related cancellation was prior to 2002).

2009 (Trivia: This year we finally broke the 7-year streak of cancellations for the first ride of the season).

2008 (Trivia: This is the 7th year in a row that the first ride was rained out. Well, "they" said it would rain. However, last year was one of the best ever for good biking weather.).

2007 (Trivia: After 5 consecutive years of cancelling the first ride of the ride due to rain, the unhappy tradition has been broken. This year's first ride was cancelled due to predicted snow showers.).

2006 (Trivia: This is the 5th year in a row that the first ride was rained out. Also, a total of 9 rain-outs is a new record, which we'll hope to never beat.).

2005 (Trivia: This is the 4th year in a row that the first ride was rained out).
